My Reawakening

After a bit of a dry spell, I am producing art again. I will try to return to my 20 minutes a day of art, as what was intended by this blog in the first place. This small acrylic painting was produced in Honfleur, France. I was in awe of the light that lit up just the top windows of the buildings in the harbor.

I sent this one to one of my sisters who just had a stroke. She loved the copy I sent her so much, I thought she should have the original.

Lots of art time in Hawaii!

The weather was not very conducive to snorkling, so I painted. A lot. All of these are done with acrylics on canvas-covered 5 x 8 boards.

It's been too long!

I am preparing for a two week holiday on Maui, and plan to do a lot of drawing while there! Lately I have been spending my 20 minutes a day working on my penmanship and journaling, so I did not want to post my private stuff here. But here is a sample of both my writing AND my love of all things kitchen... my English toffee recipe. Others have told me it's like crack so try it and see!
